[This is what is written in the Bible about God’s plan of Salvation for mankind and why. All Bible references have been removed so that the whole can be read without interruption]
The LORD has appeared of old to me, saying: “Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love; Therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you
He who does not love does not know God, for God is love.
In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him.
In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
The boastful shall not stand in [God’s] sight; He hates all workers of iniquity.
These six things the LORD hates, Yes, seven are an abomination to Him: A proud look, A lying tongue, Hands that shed innocent blood, A heart that devises wicked plans, Feet that are swift in running to evil, A false witness who speaks lies, And one who sows discord among brethren.
Every way of a man is right in his own eyes; But the LORD weighs the hearts.
If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
For there is not a just man on earth who does good and does not sin, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, But your iniquities have separated you from your God; And your sins have hidden His face from you, So that He will not hear.
What fruit did you have then in the things of which you are now ashamed? For the end of those things is death.
The angel said to them, “Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people. For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Saviour, who is Christ the Lord”.
For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners
John saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, “Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!”
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in
Him should not perish but have everlasting life. In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. Who was delivered up because of our offenses, and was raised because of our justification. For Christ also suffered once for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive by the Spirit.
Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?” knowing that Christ, having been raised from the dead, dies no more. Death no longer has dominion over Him. For the death that He died, He died to sin once for all; but the life that He lives, He lives to God. Likewise you also, reckon yourselves to be dead indeed to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus our Lord.
For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but by faith in Jesus Christ,
even we have believed in Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law; for by the works of the law no flesh shall be justified.
For there is no distinction between [people]Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him. For whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved.
For as the heavens are high above the earth, so great is His mercy toward those who fear
Him; As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us.
Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation, that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation. Most assuredly, [Jesus] says to you, “he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life”.
Whereas you do not know what will happen tomorrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away
For He says: “In an acceptable time I have heard you, and in the day of salvation I have helped you.” Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.
Today, if you will hear His voice, do not harden your hearts.
If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son.
He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.
If you have never asked the Lord Jesus Christ into your heart and would like to do so you can use the following prayer:-
Heavenly Father, I am a sinner. However good (or bad) I think I am, I need a Saviour and there is only One who can save me, Your Son, Jesus Christ. Please God forgive all my sins, wash me clean. Please Lord Jesus come into my life and live in my heart, that I may live a changed life. The life You have planned for me, and to live the way You intended me to live. Amen
